Resources for Finding Journal Papers Edit

  • To find potentially relevant journals
    • ISI Has a very good tool. Go to http://portal.isiknowledge.com/portal.cgi?SID=Z4Hgi5nAGn8KlhNnC@b. Click on "Web Of Science". Click "Advanced Search". You can do a WIDE search across all of the journals in ISI's database (most of the journals that matter), according to Author, Title, Keywords, etc. (Eg. anything with "Agent based model" or "Scott Page")
      • Then, you can click "Analyze" on the results, to see Which Journals these papers came from (Choose: "Source Title"). (Or, which Subject areas, etc)
    • Another free great resource is http://scholar.google.com. Click on "advanced preferences" to setup citation download to your bibliographic software, and for customized searches in your local library system.
    • Project Muse
